There is no question about the total devastation that is currently being seen in Nepal since the 7.8 magnitude earthquake last month. As someone who has a personal connection to that incredible country, the footage and news is especially hard to watch.
However, in times of great struggle, the triumph of the human spirit comes into play, as people band together to help those suffering. A collection of Brisbane musicians are such people, coming together to put on a night to raise funds for the Nepali people.
For one night only at Brisbane’s The Bearded Lady, The Kalka Shades (feat. Tom Busby and Brett Gibson), Josh Rennie-Hynes, Harmony James and Pat Tierney will all be performing, with all funds going to the charity, Action Aid.
If you have been stuck for how to help, this could be a great place to start!
