Florence + The Machine unveil brooding new track

As part of Record Store Day, Florence + The Machine have unveiled yet another track As Far As I Could Get in preview of their third album How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful.

The track is by far the most mellow track released for the third album – a characteristically brooding, melancholic track of intoxicating sadness. Though simple, the chorus is brought to life with Florence’s caramel smooth vocals, and enhanced further with a flurry of drums and rich harmonies.

The song will reportedly be limited to the 12-inch release for Record Store Day that features the lead single What Kind of Man with As Far As I Could Get on the B-side but may also feature in the limited edition vinyl box set of the album.

The song is the fifth released from her third studio album, as it slowly takes form before the release date of early June. They will also be appearing at Splendour in The Grassbroken foot and all.
