We recently posted about the brand new track my M83 ft. Haim, to be released in the soundtrack to upcoming film Insurgent. The second soundtrack instalment has now been revealed, and it’s just as good as the first.
My god, Woodkid has an incredible voice. Deep and rich, it simply sweeps you off your feet. Not that many voices have so much emotion in them, and this is really something. Combined with Lykke Li’s crystal clear pop voice, the slow, atmospheric beat and piano-led instrumentation, this is a duet for the ages. It builds and builds, slowly and powerfully, captivating at each turn.
Here’s the full tracklisting for the soundtrack, which officially drops later this month – probably around the March 20 film release date.
