Snoop Dogg leads a new anti-gun campaign

Snoop Dogg is one of the big stars taking part in the new US anti-gun campaign “#ImUnloading”

The campaign sees musicians, sports stars, tech names and more bringing their celebrity power to the non-profit groups Campaign to Unload and States United to Prevent Gun Violence. Other musicians involved include Jhene Aiko and Aloe Blacc.

The PSA is in support of “Unload Your 401k,” a program which has shown Americans that many 401k retirement plans support the US gun industry through investments.

The Unload Your 401k provides an easy way for people to check whether their retirement plan supports the gun industry and the National Rifle Association.

“I’m unloading for my loved ones that I’ve lost,” Snoop Dogg said. “I’m going all in for gun free investing.”

“How I’ve been affected by gun violence over the years is through deaths of friends and family members and associates,” he said in the PSA.
