Robyn To Launch Festival Promoting Women In Technology

We are getting closer to gender equality as we gain more and more recognition for the amazing work we women do. This recognition is essential to inspire future generations of women to follow their dreams and brave the highway to achieve their goals.

To the ladies who love tech, this one’s for you.

In collaboration with Sweden’s Royal Institute of Technology, Robyn is set to launch a festival promoting women in technology called Tekla. The festival will only last for a day, but it is filled with exciting workshops, inspiring speeches from motivation speakers and a performance from Robyn.

Taking place on April 18, Tekla’s purpose is to inspire teenage girls to show the guys what they’ve got in this male-dominated industry. Robyn wrote a press release, explaining what the festival means to her. “Tekla is a festival for girls, in which they get to sample different areas of future technology in what I believe will be a fun and imaginative environment.”

If you’re into tech and in Stockholm in April, this is definitely worth checking out.
