Boss Moxi Set to Tour One Last Time for Debut Album

Brisbane band Boss Moxi have become staples in their local scene. They’ve been playing shows for years, and it was with a heavy heart that I went along to see their final show at The Zoo after a tremendous performance at boutique festival Jungle Love last year. It was here the band expressed the desire to fully realise their dream of recording their debut album, although members were going their separate ways.

It was this dream, this passion and ambition that led to the band pulling together and launching an Indiegogo campaign to fund the final stage of their album. It was actually going to happen! After recording at drummer Sophie’s house in the hills of Maleny two years ago, those recordings were finally going to be made into an album. Raising a total of $5675, this dream of theirs and their fans is now a reality. Oddball is to be released April 17. Isn’t it amazing what team work can achieve? Their fans’ loyalty was finally going to be treated to the album we all wanted, but weren’t entirely sure it would happen. *emoji happy crying face*

The good news doesn’t stop there, though. We at Howl & Echoes are over the moon to announce that Boss Moxi will be hitting the road one final time, and we’ll be jumping on board as co-presenters. I’ve been such a fan of this band for a while now, so my aforementioned heart is not quite as heavy anymore upon receiving this fantastic news.

Sydney, Melbourne and The Sunshine Coast are in for a treat, as the band will travel to each city to deliver their infamous electrifying live show. This will be the last time you can catch their huge 2014 singles Song of Joan or Nymphomaniac or even 2012’s Caught Up In Neverland live, so if there is one ticket you buy for April – nay, this year – make it this one!
