Winterbourne ended 2014 with a bang

Central Coast duo Winterbourne hit the stage for one final show for the year at Sunday City Limits, a mini-festival at Enmore venue Vic on the Park. Since renovating and reopening in early 2014, the venue has increasingly become a vibrant, exciting hub for live Aussie music, with events including The Projects and Sunday City Limits becoming a favourite pastime for locals.

The mini-festival also featured the very talented headliner Patrick James, (who they toured nationally with in the early days of September,) Andy Golledge and The Pragmatics. The lads have had an amazing 12 months, blossoming from Pitt St buskers to festival favourites, including a national tour in support of Little May. The sun was shining, the music was pumping and Winterbourne were sure to fit the occasion, wooing crowds with a folky rendition of The Kinks’ Sunny Afternoon, and tracks from their May EP, All But The Sun. Pulling out all the stops to celebrate the end of a whirlwind year, mandolin man Jordan switched to a classic Gibson for the set. The perfect soundtrack to a perfect afternoon, and a great way to end a year of incredible music.
