The Budos Band are heading down under!

Haven’t heard of The Budos Band yet? Let’s start by changing that:

Right. Well now that that’s done, I’m sure that convincing you to come and see them on tour this month just got a whole lot easier.

In town for the Perth International Art Festival and Melbourne Zoo Twilights, the “most dangerous and sleazy band” on Brookyln’s Daptone Records (also home to Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, Charles Bradley etc) are touching down in Australia this week.

Combining soul, funk, rock and afrobeat, their dazzling live performances have put them on the global musical map, not to mention the silver screen – their music has played soundtrack to numerous TV shows and films, including Entourage and New York, I Love You. Their latest album Burnt Offering goes further still, infusing psychedelia and ’70s-style heavy metal riffs into their already explosive sound.

After four albums, it’s finally time for The Budos Band to set dance-floors alight throughout Australia!
