This is one of those moments when we can feel proud of what our country is contributing to the world of music.
When the New York Governor’s Ball Music Festival line-up was announced this week, we weren’t left in the dark. The epic lineup includes a wide selection of Australia’s finest. Among those representing us in NYC are Flume, Tame Impala, Angus and Julia Stone, Vance Joy, Hermitude and DMA’s. They’re set to share the stage with headliners including Drake, The Black Keys, Bjork, Deadmau5 and a tonne more.
The New York Governor’s Ball Music Festival will be held on June 5-7. Hurry up and get tickets while you can, if you happen to be in the US. But if not, don’t forget: while the lineup is outstanding, remember what we wrote about Coachella: Living in Australia and feeling that FOMO? Don’t – the majority of acts on the lineup has been here recently, or will be gracing our shores in 2015. Except Bjork, that would be pretty rad.
