I was writing this article last week when I came across one of the funnier videos I’ve seen in a long time. It’s a group of middle-aged dads, presumably, wearing Christmas jumpers. They get up on stage and start dancing to a dubstep remix of The Nutcracker’s famous Christmas tune, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
Yes, it’s as good as it sounds.
It’s unclear as to whether the video is staged or not. The video is shaky and definitely made to look like something from a school recital type thing. But judging by the supreme dance skills of the troupe, we can only assume that they’re pros. It doesn’t matter though – kudos to whoever organised it, and why! This video is amazing, hilarious, and something that every Christmas should include.
