Kingswood’s biker mini-movie has some familiar faces

How great is it when artists jetpack above and beyond the call of duty with their music videos? Kingswood certainly have with their latest, a ten minute mini-movie: Micro Wars.

Featuring two star-crossed bikers, their love divided by a fierce rivalry between opposing gangs the Kings and the Mandrills, it’s a leather-and-denim-clad Shakespearean epic featuring their songs Micro Wars and Eye Of The Storm from their debut LP Microscopic Wars (up for Best Rock Album at the ARIAs tonight)

The video features all four members of Kingswood plus some surprise cameos from the Australian music scene. Keep your eyes peeled for members of Bluejuice, The Rubens, The Preatures and Sticky Fingers as well as a turn from Tkay Maidza and even Ian Moss from Cold Chisel.

There IS a shootout and it IS outrageous, it’ll be the best thing you’ve seen all day.
