There’s A Tribe Called Quest Pop-Up Shop This Weekend

This weekend will mark an incredibly special day for A Tribe Called Quest: they will be releasing their final album – their first in eighteen years. We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service will also be celebrated with a pop-up shop in New York City. For three days, fans will be able to purchase albums, records, merchandise and more – including a full tracksuit!

For those reading who will be in New York this weekend, the store opens this Friday, November 11 at 393 Broadway in Chinatown. It will be open from 3 pm – 8 pm on Friday, and on Saturday and Sunday from midday until 8pm.

The album has already been announced the include a slew of amazing musical features, from Kendrick Lamar, Talib Kweli, Anderson Paak and Busta Rhymes so slightly more left field inclusions like Elton John and Jack White.

Whether or not the group will actually show up at the pop-up store is currently unknown. However, considering they will be in town to perform at Saturday Night Live on, well, Saturday night, it seems pretty likely that they’ll stop past Chinatown at some point throughout the weekend.
