Watch Outkast Perform Live for the First Time in Two Years

Outkast have performed live for the first time in more than two years this weekend, at the Dungeon Family reunion performance during ONE Musicfest in Atlanta. The legendary Southern collective came together to deliver a one-off set during the festival, which also featured performances from Erykah Badu, Ice Cube, Gary Clarke Jr, Anderson Paak and more.

All backed by a live band, Killer Mike, Goodie Mob, Organized Noise and more took to the stage during the reunion set, as, as did the almighty Outkast, backed by a live band, no less. Big Boi and Andre 3000 – whose appearance was a surprise – first appeared on stage to play through Dirty South and Black Ice with Goodie Mob. But before long, it was an Outkast show. Fans were treated to SpottieOttieDopaliscious, So Fresh, So Clean and more.

Both artists have been busy lately, even Three Stacks. Big Boi has also been touring with Big Grams, and recently revealed that a Killer Mike collaboration was on its way. 3k has also recently featured on tracks by Frank Ocean and Travis Scott, as well as being sampled on Vince Staples‘ new EP.

The news follows recent rumours that Outkast might be cooking something fresh, prompted by Gucci Mane’s claim that he has just recorded a feature for them. It’s been a long time since the pair played together, so this could very well indicate that they’re warming up for something new. It could also indicate nothing whatsoever, but hey, one can dream right?
