Drake Teases Details of Short Film “Please Forgive Me”

Bonus track Hotline Bling aside, Drake has been a little slow to helping fans to music videos following the success of Views.

But things are soon to change. Revealing some details via Instagram Drake has previewed elements of a short film titled Please Forgive Me and it seems that music from Views will be featured throughout the film. Seeing as Drake has been sighted working on shots for One Dance, Controlla, and Child’s Play  there’s speculation that these could be the tracks to be featured.

It’s not the first time Drizzy has embarked on a grand audiovisual endeavour, the artist dropped short film Jungle prior to the release of If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late in February 2015.

Director Spiff TV has also been dropping some details on the upcoming project, describing the Child’s Play video as “epic” when chatting with Billboard. “Drake had the vision and it’s gonna be special,” he shared. “Like the way Michael Jackson used to shoot his videos. Together, we killed the sh**. You’ll be surprised to see the cameo and the lead roles.”

As taken as the pair are with the project they have remained tight-lipped over when we’ll be seeing the final product. The only details so far is that the project will be dropping “sometime in the near future.”
