ScHoolboy Q Drops “By Any Means (Part 1)” Ft. Kendrick Lamar

ScHoolboy Q is amping things up big time ahead of his second album Blank Face. In the past week alone, he’s released a compelling trailer for the album, dropped the tracklist via Instagram, and now this. He’s unveiled a ~9 minute short film titled By Any Means (Part 1) that features the unmistakeable vocals of Kendrick Lamar.

The video starts out following Quincy and his boys around South Central in Los Angeles as they roll through a series of hijinks: their dice game is busted by the fuzz, they retreat to (and get kicked out of) a nearby house to smoke up, they roast each other. Around the 6 minute mark, it transitions seamlessly into a music video for his new track By Any Means, which very clearly features Lamar. The song will be track 8 on Blank Face, which is now available for pre-order. The release will also feature collaborations with heavyweights like Kanye West, Anderson .PaakTha Dogg Pound, Vince Staples, SZA and more. You can check out the full tracklist and guest collaborators here.

It’s clear that another clip or two will be following this one, so keep your eyes open. Seems like the (very deserved) hype surrounding Blank Face is about to reach critical mass.

The album will be out on July 8 via TDE.
