After teasing her millions of fans that a new video clip was on the way, the day has finally arrived and Kiss It Better is the song of choice. Considering it is her most poppy, and most accessible, on her otherwise completely different new album ANTI, it comes as no surprise this was chosen to be the new single- but we’re really glad it is.
Although her lead single, Work featuring Drake, is still killing it on the charts, what’s another potential #1 to the most successful digital artist of all time, right? In the rather simplistic clip, we see Bad Gal RiRi in black and white, writhing around in seductive poses. There’s not much else to it, but that’s why it works so well. Leaving it in this stark colour scheme with just our girl crying out for an ex-lover to “kiss it better”, the true message of the song is only amplified by the considerable lack of content in the clip.
