Skepta Braces Us For “Konnichiwa” With A Brand New Track

Just this week, Skepta announced his latest album, Konnichiwa, will be (finally) available for listening come May 6, and now he’s given us another taste of what we can expect from what is one of the most anticipated records of this year. Today, he dropped Man (Gang) and it bangs – HARD.

“Told me you was a big fan/But the first thing you said when you saw me was can I get a pic for the ‘gram?/I was like ‘Nah sorry man/I only socialize with the crew and the gang.’” These are just some of the honest, upfront lyrics Skepta offers in his latest tune. Over a huge bouncing beat, he puts fake friends and haters on blast. Clueing into how his interactions with those around him, old and new, have changed since he blew up, Skepta isn’t shying away from calling people out. With lyrics like this song should probably come with a flammable warning because some people are about to get BURNED.

Building on from his previous tracks, Ladies Hit Squad and of course, Shutdown, Skepta is still on his A-game and is doing one hell of a job at keeping the world as hyped as possible for the release of Konnichiwa. The countdown begins!
