It was just discovered only hours ago that a new Kendrick Lamar album was apparently about to be released. Titled untitled unmastered, it is now here.
The news follows the announcement earlier this week from TDE’s CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, that one TDE project would be released this week. We thought it might be a new Isaiah Rashad EP, perhaps a new SZA track?
But nobody, and I mean nobody, expected eight new Kendrick tracks.
Whether it was a blunder or not – I mean, considering the botched releases of Rihanna and Kanye’s albums, not to mention Kendrick’s own To Pimp A Butterfly last year, it wouldn’t be surprising – Lamar and TDE have jumped on board, with K-Dot himself sharing the iTunes link via Twitter.
