WATCH: Future Appears On SNL With A Special Guest

Future has taken to the SNL stage to perform Low Life, March Madness and Jumpman. Little did we know, however, there were a couple of surprises up his sleeve.

Host for the night Jonah Hill introduced him as he was about to start the show with Jumpman, saying he was “a big fan”. He backed up this claim by actually filling in for Drake and performing Drizzy’s verse, who was unavailable. Hill rapped his way through the song with ease.

Later on, Future returned for Low Life. The stage lit up to reveal Future clad in a huge hooded coat and sunglasses. He started the song on his own, before he was suddenly joined by The Weeknd, who the crowd welcomed with an excited roar. The Weeknd sang his part while Future danced around the stage, swaying along to the smooth beat. They swapped roles while Future took the reigns once again.

Finally, to round things out, Future was back once again with the heart-pumping banger March Madness. This time, he was doing it solo. This showed his true stage presence and the power in his voice. The pure quality of the commanding performance makes you wish you were there live to witness it in the flesh. It’s impossible to look away as he works the stage with sheer confidence in every step. This performance easily reaffirms he is one of the best rappers around right now, and considering he’s still pumping out new content like there’s no tomorrow, should serve pretty well for his future releases.
