The Drones Announce National Tour Dates

The Drones are back. And they’re coming in strong.

Easily this editor’s personal favourite Australian band of all time, until late last year, the band had been pretty quiet since the release of their stunning 2013 album I See Seaweed. Following a series of festival performances, the band have since released two new singles and announced a brand new album, Feelin Kinda Free, set for release on March 18, 2016.

In our recent edition of Howl & Echoes editor’s picks, The Drones’ recent single To Think That I Once Loved You was chosen as our favourite song of 2016 so far. Listen here:

While the band recently went on tour in support of the tenth anniversary of their groundbreaking 2005 album Wait Long By The River And The Bodies Of Your Enemies Will Float Bythey have now announced another full national tour to promote the new album.

Anyone who’s seen this band in the flesh will need approximately zero convincing as to why this is an unmissable show. For the rest of you, take my word for it: The Drones will blow your fucking mind.
