Hall And Oates Deliver Funky Performance On Fallon

Hall and Oates have proven why they are the highest selling duo in musical history, with a stellar performance on Jimmy Fallon last night.

Performing I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do), the band made the most of the stage by beefing up the arrangement in an extra-funky rendition, which included one other than a flute solo to kick the song off.

Backed by a full strength live touring band, Daryl Hall and John Oates looked completely relaxed and at home on the television stage.

The audience clearly lapped up each moment, with the entrance of the saxophone midway through the song sparking wild cheers and claps from all in attendance. Watch the full performance below.

It was clearly a special guest for Fallon to have on the show, after he showed off his own love of the group back in 2014 by dedicating a 7 minute long segment to singing tunes from the bands discography with Daryl Hall and The Roots playing along.

It’s not the first time Fallon has shown off his own singing skills, with this cover of Hotline Bling by Drake and his Star Wars A Capella with members of the cast of The Force Awakens revealing that there is more to the man than just hosting a talk show.
