The Sunshine Coast’s Big Pineapple Festival released a line up that promises the perfect end to the festival season and a solid practice run at camping, paying $500 for a watery, light beer and stand up weeing (this one’s for the ladies) in the lead up to Splendour In The Grass.
The festival will be headlined by RÜFÜS off the back of their second album Bloom that recently debuted at number 1 on the ARIA charts. Other highlights include Hermitude, The Smith Street Band, DMA’s, Tkay Maidza, The Bennies and Aussie rock legends You Am I.
I know what you’re thinking, this couldn’t possibly get any better… but it does. The line up also features a band we’ve all been waiting 4ever to see – Australia’s most beloved pop-punk twins, The Veronicas.

The Big Pineapple is set for Saturday the 28th of May but punters can enter the campground from Friday morning onwards. 2016’s festival will be the 4th instalment of the event, taking place in Woombye opposite its namesake and national treasure, The Big Pineapple itself. If last year’s event was anything to go by (John Butler Trio, Violent Soho, The Jezabels); we can safely say it’s gonna be pretty damn good.
