UK grime MC Skepta is currently making his way around Australia for his maiden tour right now and whilst the tour may be winding down, the rest of his year is just getting started. Having been included on this year’s Coachella lineup, Skepta is looking pretty set for things to really kick into overdrive now, and the freestyle he dropped on triple J today just goes to show how well deserved it is.
No stranger to freestyling live on air, he jumped at the chance to drop some bars on Kano‘s P’s & Q’s, courtesy of Drive host, Shantan Wantan Ichiban. The results were unsurprisingly lit as he went in, bringing up police brutality, the lessons he’s going to teach this year, the effects of short lived fame and so much more. Jamming a hell of a lot into just two minutes, it’s really no wonder at all why he continues to be one of the biggest hip-hop names in the entire world.
