Courtney Love

LISTEN: Courtney Love Covers Radiohead’s ‘Creep’

Courtney Love has been filmed covering classic Radiohead hit Creep while at an intimate party in LA.

The Hole frontwoman attended a private party which was being hosted by songwriter Linda Perry. Joining Love on the night was Frances Bean Cobain, Love’s daughter with Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. The mother and daughter have had a notoriously tumultuous relationship over the years, but if recent social media posts are anything to go by, the pair have patched things up. On the night, Frances tweeted, “I got to watch my mom be the badass she is and destroy Creep by Radiohead tonight.”

Her daughter isn’t the only person who Love has had a falling out with over the years. She infamously had a prolonged feud with Nirvana drummer and Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, which was finally resolved in 2014 at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony, where the pair buried the hatchet and hugged it out on stage as Nirvana were inducted.

Love has remained busy since the last album she recorded with her popular Hole in 2010. She has recently focused her attention on her acting career, appearing in shows including Sons of Anarchy and Empire. While her musical output has been scarce, she has continued as a solo artist. Last year, she opened for Lana Del Rey during her Endless Summer Tour in 2015 while releasing the single Miss Narcissist.
