2015 has been absolutely huge for A$AP Rocky. After the surprise and tragic death of his close friend A$AP Yams late last year, he went onto create one of this year’s best albums in AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP, and consequently continued his rise to total world domination. Now it seems he’s been giving a bit back to the community, and recently popped into the University of Las Vegas to drop some wisdom.
This went down as part of the Samsung Music Lab, and Rocky’s is the second instalment in the series. Speaking to a crowded room, Pretty Flacko gave an intimate interview on his life, creativity and the music industry, saying things like, “I’m still a student like ya’ll, because life is a learning experience,” to really give it that #inspirational feel.
It didn’t stop there though. Rocky also met with one particular student for some one-on-one time. He listened to the student’s tracks and had a bit more of a chat, before taking him to pick up some ~fresh~ new threads from Barneys. If there is one person in the hip-hop game that you’d want to take style advice from these days, it would probably be A$AP Rocky, so the student is definitely counting his lucky stars right now.
