If working on an album was the same as raising a child, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s Krayzie Bone would have a child turning 6, or he/she might already be 6. Either way, you get where I am coming from – Chasing The Devil has been ridiculously delayed.
On Tuesday, we were finally (don’t think there is a strong enough word here) treated to the album’s first single Cloudy, so it seems the album might break through the clouds and see the light of day. Chasing The Devil is expected to drop on November 20, and is available for pre-order on iTunes.
The contemplative first track focuses on finding hope through a variety of struggles and is delivered in the Bone Thugs style we know and love.
Krayzie told HipHopDX back in 2009 that Chasing the Devil will be the final album of his prosperous solo career, and has recently said that he is “very confident that once it is finally released on the new street date, it will definitely be worth the wait. I can honestly say that I haven’t felt this complete about a solo album of mine since Thug Mentality.”
Bone Thugs recently reunited for a worldwide tour which was one of the best hip hop concert that I have seen. There have also been rumours of a forthcoming album for the band, who haven’t released any new material since they took the time to focus on their individual solo careers.
