Brisbane, Gird Your Loins for ‘Deadlam’ this Halloween

October means a few things – festival season kicking off, warmer weather, even hayfever for some. However, it also means Halloween, and all the parties that come with it. After the huge success of their inaugural party last year, it’s probably in everyone’s best interest in Brisbane to get physically and mentally ready for local lords Bedlam Records‘ Deadlam. That’s right – it’s back.

Notorious for putting on one hell of a time, Bedlam Records have made a name for themselves as party masters around Brisbane, and this looks set to only reaffirm this rep. Boasting a lineup chock-full of local heavyweights, the Bedlam boys will be bringing the madness unleashed at last year’s warehouse party to a slightly more established but no less outrageous setting of The Brightside, and this one promises to be a real ripper. Cramming in 11 bands over two stages, Deadlam 2.0 will see the likes of Young Lions, KaleidoscopeTwin HausBaskervillainGallu$ and more descend on punters brave enough to enter. With each act kicking their own personal goals, from Baskervillain sharing a stage with Frenzhal Rhomb at Red Deer Music Festival over the weekend; Twin Haus dropping a superb new track which you can listen to below; Gallu$ well and truly killing it in his own right; The Jensens currently touring around the country supporting Last Dinosaurs and the list goes on, it’s safe to say this may be one of the last few times you could catch some of these acts in such an intimate setting.

Tickets are a measly $10 and are on sale now. That’s literally less than $1 per band. Check here for more info and click here for tickets – take it from me, this is not a night you’ll want to miss.
