It’s clearly been a busy few months in World’s End Press‘s world. Not only have they released one of my favourite tracks of the last few weeks in the form of Tall Stories, today they’ve also announced a new EP and a new tour to celebrate in style.
I expected big things to come from the guys after hearing Tall Stories, and now they’ve proven me right. The upbeat disco-inspired track was stuck in my head immediately, and I was left wanting more. Thankfully, my prayers have been answered with the announcement that World’s End Press will be releasing an EP of the same name in just a few weeks, as well as going on tour to celebrate. Hitting Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide, they’ll be tearing up dance floors near you this October.
Touching on “themes of crossed wires, self-deceit, enigma and unconditional love, with beats to drive you out seeking answers in the night,” the Tall Stories EP is a five track release that sounds incredibly promising indeed judging from it’s title track and lead single, Spirals (Slide Away). Both tracks hear the trio get grittier, dubbier, clubbier and more, venturing into new realms of dance music. Listen to Tall Stories below to hear for yourself!
Tall Stories will be out September 25 via Mushroom.
