Having dropped one of the best albums of the year (in this writer’s opinion), live performances by A$AP Rocky are pretty exciting. Having stuck to himself a bit post album release, Rocky is about to jump on tour with Tyler, The Creator, Vince Staples and Danny Brown, but not without treating fans to a performance of Electric Body on Jimmy Kimmel first.
Performing with a live band and bouncing around alongside frequent collaborator and clearly good friend, ScHoolBoy Q, Rocky performed one of the hit songs from his At.Long.Last.A$AP album with about as much gusto as you’d expect from someone who is probably on top of the world right now. Not being able to wipe the smile off his face, Rocky and Q had the crowd in the palms of their hands for the entire performance, giving their all and receiving it right back. Considering the heavy emotional aspect of this latest album for Rocky in regards to A$AP Yams‘ tragic death, it would be pretty God damn amazing to receive so much love for such special tracks.
