There is no question that one of this year’s most exciting breakthrough acts is UK grime MC Skepta, and with the world now watching his every move there is a certain amount of pressure to continue to deliver the goods.
Thankfully, he is more than capable of doing so, and has reaffirmed this reputation over the weekend with a new guest verse. Not only did he choose one of this year’s best songs in the form of Jamie xx‘s I Know There’s Gonna Be (Good Times), he once again showed everyone that he is more than capable of really hitting the big time. Rapping over a noticeably faster track, the remix suits Skepta’s lyrics and flow perfectly as he raps about his “first class ticket to the top”.
