After abandoning their not-so-beloved banjos, whipping out their electric guitars, and whipping up a delectable chart topping album – Mumford & Sons are gracing our shores this November, and bringing a veritable A-team of musicians along for the ride.
The gang is starting off in Brisbane and then heading to Melbourne, before finishing off in Sydney for a one-of-a-kind all day festival called Gentlemen of the Road. My condolences to those living in Brisbane and Melbourne, as all the tickets to those concerts have already flown out the door. However, flights to Sydney may well be on the cards considering the line-up, as limited tickets are still available for the Gentlemen of the Road pop-up festival. Sell your car, sell your kidney, just get a ticket.
Backing up Mumford & Sons at the Gentlemen of the Road are British singer song-writing sensation Jake Bugg, indie rockers The Vaccines, America’s Future Islands who were responsible for Aussie favourite Seasons (Waiting On You). The line-up is further bolstered by some serious Australian talent, with the fast rising Meg Mac who recently blew us away at GTM, the always impressive Jungle Giants as well as the talented Art of Sleeping.
These supports will also be joining Mumford & Sons in Brisbane (The Vaccines and Meg Mac) and Melbourne (Future Islands and The Vaccines) before gearing up for Sydney.
Tickets are extremely limited so get in quick!
