Undoubtedly one of this year’s biggest artists, Jamie xx is wasting no time bringing his incredible album to the people, and has been performing pretty consistently over the past few months. Everyone has been clambering for a piece of the live Jamie pie, and now a few more souls have been chosen to see the man in action.
Performing a Boiler Room set last night in New York, the mostly reserved producer had a little help from collaborators Young Thug and Gyptian, who both got up to perform with him. Playing one hell of a set with tracks taken from his album In Colour (read our track-by-track review here), the set is conducive to one huge dance party, which is perplexing given the stoic nature of the crowd. Boiler Room sets are notoriously brutal, both on the artist themselves and their music, but Jamie looks right at home on the decks. Turn up the volume and check the set below!
