If you missed Triple J’s weekly Like A Version segment this fine Friday morning then you done goofed. Brisbane’s The Belligerents tore it up, kicking off with a sensational live rendition of Voices:

Like A Versions are often a bit hit-and-miss, but this one is one of the best ones put forward in 2015. It’s uplifting and joyous and is just the right mix of faithful homage imbued with their own recognisable sound. I’d like to extend my thanks to The Belligerents for the absolutely nifty car ride to work they gave me this morning with this cover. Cheers!
