Long-time advocate for the legalisation of marijuana (and you know, Academy Award winner) Susan Sarandon has just heard her shout in A$AP Rocky‘s 1Train (which, among others, features Action Bronson) and well, what can she say? She’s a fan.

She might be two-years late, but the actress recently heard the song and has thanked Action Bronson for his shoutout: “You see us scramblin, sellin Susan Sarandon/the cloud of smoke like the Phantom.”
It’s safe to assume that the reference is in regards to weed due to Sarandon’s well-documented and vocal support of the legalisation of the drug. In the past she has stated that she believes the world would be a much more peaceful place if more people smoked weed instead of drinking alcohol. Aside from admitting that she often attends award ceremonies stoned and insisting that smoking has helped her career (“I’ve never worked high, and I’ve never filmed high. But I’ve read scripts high and gotten a different perspective.”) She’s also spoken about marijuana as a valuable source of income for some, medical relief for others, and way to distress as well as being “a lovely way to socialise and be with people.”
By the looks of her tweet, like some socialisation might very well be on the cards, as she extended an invite to the rappers to “blaze one and talk about it [the song] some time”.
