Remember when Robyn said she was working on a new project called La Bagatelle Magique?
Well, here’s the product of said project. Robyn and La Bagatelle Magique (also known as keyboardist and producer Markus Jägerstedt, and Christian Falk) have announced the release of a mini-album Love Is Free, which will be released next week. It consists of five-tracks, including her new single.
The title track, which was released back in June, gave us a small taste of what we can expect. Today, we have another. Set Me Free is a high-energy hit with a hyper electro sound. Cue the party vibes; this song is crazy. Even the most introverted person won’t be able to stop themselves from dancing to this addictive medley. You’re guaranteed to be left with a smile on your face by the end of the track.
After turning in to these two tracks, the excitement to hear more is off the scale. If you’re in Stockholm on August 21-22, you can see them in action. They’ll be playing a show at Dans Dakar, as well as another one in San Francisco at the Treasure Island Music Festival.
