Despite an upcoming lawsuit for jumping a woman a few years ago, Miguel has confirmed some details about his upcoming new album.
Wildheart is confirmed to be the name of the follow-up to his 2012 release of his second album Kaleidoscope Dream. Scoring him four Grammy nominations and 20 weeks on the top 200 Billboard charts, it’s safe to say this new album is highly anticipated. His hit single Adam won him a Grammy in 2013 for Best R&B Song, and spent a massive 23 weeks on the Billboard charts – the longest run ever for an R&B track.It’s safe to say that he has really set the bar high for himself.
The first single from the upcoming release Coffee has been already released. The alternative version, Coffee (Fucking) ft. Wale is also available for purchase. With a strong synth and smooth vocals, this is a great example of what we can expect. The R’n’B track is rich in electronics, creating an addictive beat that will have you constantly pressing repeat.
The exact release date of Wildheart is yet to be confirmed, however, it will be sometime in our winter.
