I first stumbled across this UK duo when they released a killer remix of Tei Shi‘s Bassically. I didn’t realise until then just how much I had been missing out on. If you, like me, are unaware of HONNE, let their latest track Didn’t I change that in the best way possible for you.
Silky smooth R&B mixed with summery late night vibes, Didn’t I is a slightly different sound than previously heared from the pair, but nevertheless outstanding. Highlighting their ever-unfolding versatility, this is my new favourite track by HONNE, and has me incredibly excited for the imminent release of their forthcoming EP, Coastal Love. Keep an ear out for the beautiful vocal harmonies in the hook, the forlorn and fed up lyrics and the laidback beats that make this song such a winner.
