Taken from her 2014 release, I Never Learn, Lykke Li has now released the accompanying visuals for her track Never Gonna Love Again. Starting out with the singer brooding in the backseat of a car, things take a turn for the devastatingly unexpected, and now I don’t know what to do with my life.
“Loneliness and heartbreak follow you everywhere and they are loudest right after the lights go out and the crowds quiet,” the singer told Rolling Stone regarding the clip. “Here’s an intimate glimpse of how it can be to live your dream whilst stuck in your dream. In the lonely wolf hour, the night becomes your stage, the stars your audience, the rain your memories.”
Lykke Li sadly had to cancel her Australian appearances earlier this year for Laneway as she undertook a temporary hiatus. Hopefully the release of this clip signifies her return, and she will hopefully make her way Down Under very soon indeed.
