One thing that we love at Howl & Echoes is supporting upcoming Australian music. And Brisbane’s Art of Sleeping are a very very good upcoming Australian band.
I fell in love with their 2-14 single Crazy, so much so that it ended up in my top ten tracks of the whole year. I got to experience them live at Falls Festival in Byron, which only further cemented that love.
Now, they’ve got a brand new single. They’ve also announced a string of national tour dates, meaning that every one of you has the chance to see them in the flesh!
Their single is Voodoo. It’s powerful and emotive, with expectedly gorgeous vocals and a huge beat. I really love that they don’t really sound like anyone else out there right now. That doesn’t happen as often as I’d like, so I really cherish those who pave their own way.
