In 1990, he made a name for himself by supposedly stealing one of Queen’s most famous bass lines.
Now, in 2015, it seems his stealing streak continues.
After he allegedly stole various household items from an abandoned home, Vanilla Ice has been arrested and taken to the county jail in Lantana, Florida. He was later released, having been charged with home burglary and grand theft under suspicions that he “played a role” in the crime.
Among the stolen items are various types of furniture, a pool heater, bicycles, and much more. These were apparently found in Ice’s home by police and returned to the homeowners.
The rapper has been filming his reality series, The Vanilla Ice Project in the home next door to where the items were taken. He has been renovating the home as part of the show. Following his release, Ice told reporters that it was all a big misunderstanding. “It’ll all get cleared up, you’ll see,” he said.
