Concrete Jungle announces first lineup!

If you were, like me, one of the lucky few folk who went along to local boutique festival Jungle Love last year, you will no doubt be suffering some serious withdrawals right about now. What was one of the best weekends of my year last year saw likeminded locals – and not-so-locals – converge onto the beautiful Lake Moogerah for a weekend of festivities from one of the most carefully curated lineups I’ve seen from any local scene. With two days jampacked with music from headliners Moses Gunn Collective and Closure in Moscow, to the groovy jams of the Astro Travellers and the Rhythm Hunters, as well as local scene staples like Twin Haus, Boss Moxi (check out the photo diary they did for us HERE!), Baskervillian, The Bacchanales and more – this line up had something for everyone. Add to this some pretty crazy shenanigans in the campgrounds and lake as well as live art, poetry slams, industry talks and more; the vibe felt by punters there is not one that can be easily re-created.

Thankfully, the legends behind this amazing event have done us all a favour by announcing Concrete Jungle: an inner city warehouse party to do it all over again! Condensing all that was Jungle Love into just one night is no easy task, but the guys have delivered, and we can’t wait!

Locking down fellow Jungle Lovers; the aforementioned Rhythm Hunters, Michelle Xen & The Neon Wild, Desmond Cheese, and Glacier, this will no doubt be one hell of a night! Tin Can Radio will also be performing, and launching their latest single that evening, alongside newcomers HRBRT, Amala and All Things Lost.

Rhythm Hunters and their traditional choreographed drumming combined with contemporary fusion pieces will be co-headlining the night alongside funk/soul outfit Bullhorn:

It’s safe to say, this will be one for the ages. Not to mention the live art, and the fact it’s BYO, and I am sold a million times over! Tickets are on sale now, so don’t delay!
