Odesza (1)

Hey Sydney, Odesza are throwing a sick party next Thursday

Anyone who knows me, or has read any of my writing over the past year knows that I’ve come to really, really love Seattle electronic duo Odesza. The blissful ambience, the sweeping soundscapes and catchy hooks, often sung by choice female guest vocals, really swept me away – and that’s not even including their brilliant NO.SLEEP mixtapes. For more on this, check out my review of In Return here, and my interview with them for Stoney Roads here.

Anyway, they’re in town this week for Melbourne’s Sugar Mountain Festival. They’re playing two shows in Sydney, and after their gig on hursday Jan 22, they’re throwing a wicked afterparty at Goodgod!

Named after the aforementioned mixes, their first NO.SLEEP party took place in San Francisco last year, and was so popular that they took it abroad. Alongside Odesza will be Juan Du Sol (Rufus) and a bunch of other special guests.
The shows are sold out, but you can buy tickets to the afterparty for $22 here.
