One of my absolute favourite acts of this year has been Client Liaison. They are the purveyors of fine taste, kings of style and their infectious music has been the soundtrack to the later part of my year. They’re a duo with three separate factors – the music, the live show, and the video clips. When these three factors combine, this is the Client Liaison “experience” in which they urge listeners to immerse themselves in.
Immerse, I have! Their latest clip for new single Groove The Physical is just as nostalgic tinged as their previous clips, featuring outlandish scenes of excess known in the 80’s/early 90’s. Jaunting around a night club, the clip follows the pair on what we can assume would be an average night out for them in Client Liaison world – jumping the line, beautiful women on their arms, Monte Morgan‘s incredible dance moves, crazy cocktails, a suggestive scene involving two women and Harvey Miller AO in the ladies toilet. Casual, really.
Groove The Physical is the duo’s final release of what has been a mammoth year. They’re apparently jetting off to Fiji (on the company card?) before coming back to Australia for Boogie Nights at Falls Festival!
